Resilience Strategies for Trauma Recovery: A Strength-Based Approach to Healing - Trauma Skills Summit

We can hold more together. Reaching to ... when rejected, not receiving, they feel insecure

Part of healing is to re-learn safely reach & receive

when we have a feeling, we are much more likely to remember other times we felt that way (same state) - downward spiral.  Upward spiral constantly find the time you felt safe, trusting

music, essential oil as cues for a safe environment - memories of the past and the fear of the future.

The cue will help us oriented in the present moment - the only place that we have choice is the her and now.

we cannot change what happened, but we can change our experience with it.

bring in new resource when we pull in the memory to form new memories

when we cannot flight or flee, the sequence got stuck.  we need to mindfully walk the leg, move the arm to leave the place. - here and now.

reflecting - coherence - take different parts of you to develop a sense of self.
